Ceilidh Band PAT testing
PAT testing. (Portable appliance testing)
In our experience, venues often make a stipulation that any ceilidh bands performing on their premises using electrical equipment for sounds amplification etc, must have PAT certificates. This means their electrical stage equipment must be tested regularly where applicable and in addition, they will ask that any band must have a public liability insurance policy in place. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to set up any electrical sound equipment! Rest assured you are in safe hands with Iron Broo. All our equipment is PAT tested and we keep the certificates current being a professional band. Therefore there is no risk the customer can be sent into a panic when the request for PAT testing certificates and public liability comes at the last minute and the band are unprepared. This can happen on the day of the performance. We have had staff challenge us for evidence during the set up in some extreme cases. Luckily we are a PAT tested ceilidh band.
All our sound equipment is PAT tested to meet the requirements of your venues demands. We have a public liability insurance policy in place. In addition, while carrying out our set up and take down we carry out visual inspection of all our cables and equipment. Our band leader is a qualified PAT tester you can always be assured the equipment we use is safe.
